EMC E20-351 : Storage Area Network (SAN) Implementation Exam
The EMC E20-351 (Storage Area Network (SAN) Implementation) exam focuses on EMC SAN solutions and the implementations related to them. There are 66 questions on the 90 minute exam. Also, the E20-351 exam serves as a qualifying exam for the EMC Implementation Engineer Storage Area Network (SAN) Specialist track.
To pass the EMC E20-351 exam, exam candidates need to have a comprehensive understanding of SAN management. Specifically, they will need to be able to identify SAN management tools, Host SAN concepts, and storage arrays and their management tools. Being able to classify switch licensing, create and manage zoning , and merge multiple switches into a single fabric is also required in order to successfully pass the E20-351 exam.
Concepts related to SAN storage protocols will be covered. Prepared participants will be able to list the protocol basics related to Ethernet, IP, and Fibre Channel. Participants will also be able to identify the differences between protocol SAN topologies and the different types of logins and identifications.
Additional concepts that may be tested on the EMC E20-351 exam include Connectrix B-Series architecture and management, Connectrix MDS-Series architecture and management, PowerPath configuration and administration, and host-to-storage SAN implementation. All potential exam candidates should have knowledge of the following products: CLARiiON CX4, VNX, Web Tools FOS v6.4, Symmetrix DMX and VMAX, Connectrix Manager CNE v11, Connectrix B-Series Switches, FOX v6.4, and Connectrix MDS-Series Switches NX-OS v5.2.
