EMC E20-002 : Cloud Infrastructure and Services Exam
The 90 minute EMC E20-002 (Cloud Infrastructure and Services) exam contains 65 questions. Additionally, it is available to be taken only in English. Successful completion of the exam allows exam participants to earn the EMC Cloud Infrastructure and Services Associate (EMCCIS) certification.
The EMC E20-002 exam will thoroughly cover aspects pertaining to the Cloud. Subjects such as business drivers, characteristics of the Cloud, phases and activities relating to the journey to the Cloud, deployment, service models, benefits of the Cloud, and challenges associated with Cloud will be presented on the exam.
Also during the EMC E20-002 exam, candidates will be given classic data center questions. These questions are designed to test the candidate's knowledge of RAID technology, intelligent storage systems, storage networking options, unified storage, backup and replication, and data center management.
Additionally, the EMC E20-002 candidates will be tested on their abilities to understand the virtualized data center and Cloud services management concepts. These questions will require candidates to prove their skills in virtualization in relation to storage, networks, desktops, business continuity, and applications. Further questions will require candidates to prove their knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, service creation, security concerns, and the best practices for migration to the Cloud.
Due to the amount of information presented on the exam, it is recommended that candidates take the training course offered by EMC before taking the exam. The course, Cloud Infrastructure and Services, is available both as a video and as an instructor-led course.
