ECCouncil 412-79 : EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) Exam
The ECCouncil 412-79 EC-Council Certified Security Analyst exam must be taken and complete successfully (with a passing score of 70%) to receive the ECSA certification. It is a 2-hour exam with 50 multiple choice questions regarding the analytical phase of ethical hacking and related tools and technologies. It is only available in the English language and must be taken online via the Prometric website.
The ECCouncil 412-79 exam will measure skill ability in numerous areas of knowledge. To prepare, candidates can take the associated training course and review other study materials that offered through ECCouncil, which will provide adequate coverage of the network and analysis security topics that will be found on the exam.

Participants must also be able to describe the different types of penetration testing, including internal/external network, wireless network, router, database, firewall, password cracking, denial of service, application, and physical security. Participants should also know how to perform a penetration testing report analysis and documentation writing.
