ECCouncil 312-92 : EC-Council Certified Secure Programmer v2 (ECSP) Exam
The ECCouncil 312-92 EC-Council Certified Secure Programming v2 exam is a 4-hour exam with 150 multiple choice questions that is required for the ECSP certification. It is intended for programming professionals who wish to improve their code writing skills, gain exposure to application development across platforms, and build secure applications. It is available online or at VUE/Prometric testing centers worldwide.
Candidates can gain experience in secure programming by enrolling in the ECSP training course. Additional study materials, including test objectives and study guides, can be found online. To pass this exam and earn the certification, a score of 70% is required.
Participants will be asked to display knowledge regarding the programming of numerous programs, systems, and scripts, including Java, C and C++, PERL, ASP, SQL server, ActiveX, XML, Linux, Oracle, and Microsoft.NET. Participants should be able to design a secure architecture and be knowledgeable of secure application testing, cryptography, writing Shellcodes/Exploits, and buffer overflows.
