The EADP (Esri ArcGIS Desktop Professional) certification allows professionals to validate their ability to perform skills related to Esri Certified ArcGIS Desktop Associates, ArcGIS tools, and complex GIS projects. These skills allow an individual with an EADP certification to define projects and establish methods, work flows, and processes in ArcGIS. Additionally, the EADP certification provides candidates with proof of their ability to troubleshoot and problem solve non-routine issues. An individual with an EADP certification also has the ability to determine the most appropriate ArcGIS Desktop functionality to achieve project objectives.
During their daily job tasks, an individual with an EADP (Esri ArcGIS Desktop Professional) certification uses advanced modeling techniques, applies fundamental spatial statistics, and performs surface modeling and analysis. An EADP certified individual also builds complex data sets and is capable of using ArcGIS Explorer and ArcGIS Online.
Passing the ArcGIS Desktop Professional exam is required in order to earn the EADP certification. Each candidate will be tested on 95 questions and will have two hours and 15 minutes to take the test.
