CWNP PW0-204 : Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) Exam
The CWNP PW0-204 Certified Wireless Security Professional examination is comprised of 60 multiple choice/multiple answer questions that must be answered within a 90 minute timeframe. A score of at least 70% is required in order to receive the CWSP certification, which represents professional knowledge in enterprise Wi-Fi network security. The exam is only available in the English language.
To prepare, an official study guide and practice test question packet are available to purchase. Candidates can also download exam terminology and objectives from the CWNP website. An authorized training course, Enterprise Wi-Fi Security, is available through CWNP Learning Partners around the world. The test must be taken at an authorized Pearson VUE training center.
The CWNP PW0-204 exam will require knowledge of several key terms and concepts:
1. Participants will be asked to describe aspects of security design and architecture, including wireless network security models, VPNs, WLAN infrastructure devices, AAA servers, and frame exchange processes.
2. Candidates should have ample knowledge of Wireless Intrusion Prevention Systems, compliance monitoring, WLAN management systems, and security features of 802.11 WIPS.
3. Participants must know how to recognize and prevent several different types of attacks. The ability to perform a risk assessment and implement the AKM software, and explain different features of security policies, is required.
