Individuals can become a Certified Wireless Design Professional by earning the certification available from CWNP. This professional level certification will focus primarily on the design of enterprise wireless networks for different environments and applications. Candidates must consider several components and details when developing reliable and secure WLANs. Practical knowledge and on-the-job experience will be put to the test when earning the CWDP (CWNP Certified Wireless Design Professional) certification certification.
It is necessary that candidates first earn the CWNA certification, which can be done by passing one of two exams: PW0-104 or PW0-105. Upon doing so, participants can pass the PW0-250 exam with a score of 70% and successfully earn the CWDP certification. The exam will look at important features of the network design process, including planning, site surveying and design strategies. Infrastructure, RF, security, and troubleshooting design concepts will also appear.
As training resources CWNP offers several tools to ensure that a passing score will be received on the first attempt. An official study guide and comprehensive practice test, along with an exam voucher, can be purchased directly from the CWNP website. Registration can be done through the Pearson VUE testing website. Exam objectives and additional information can be found online.
