CTP : Certified Treasury Professional Exam
The CTP: Certified Treasure Professional examination consists of 170 scored multiple choice questions that will test knowledge and understanding of terms and concepts. The ability to perform mathematical calculations and apply concepts/principles to specific situations is required. The CTP credential will represent excellence in the finance profession and the ability to execute important functions related to corporate liquidity and capital/risk management.
To prepare for CTP exam, candidates must read the Essentials of Treasury Management (3rd Edition) textbook, as it will cover all topics found on the exam. The textbook chapter outline, which breaks down each chapter by exam topic, can be viewed online. Other textbooks and reference materials can also be reviewed, including the AFP Learning System: Treasury and an examination preparation guide that includes a set of practice question. Training courses and webinars are also available to take. A total time of 3.5 hours is given to complete the CTP exam.
