CTP TT0-201: Convergence Technologies Professional
The CTP TT0-201: Convergence Technologies Professional exam is a 90-minute exam with 65 multiple choice questions. It is required to receive the CTP (V2007) certification and will require knowledge of the concepts and features related to convergence networks and technologies. This exam is intended for technical, IP, and sales professionals looking to advance a career in communications technologies.
Instructor-led classroom training courses and a customized pre-assessment are available to take. Information on these, along with practice exams, a study guide, a list of objectives, and other study materials can be accessed at the CTP-Certified website. A passing score of at least 75% is required. The exam is only available in English.
Participants must be able to identify elements of a convergent network and have adequate knowledge of convergence technologies, including transporting information, using protocols to control convergent network traffic, identifying security issues, and troubleshooting technology. Participants will also be asked to identify components of data and IP networking, such as infrastructures and Quality of Service, and Voice/Telephony functions and technology, such as voice services, codecs, and ISDN.
