CompTIA N10-005 : CompTIA Network+ Certification Exam
The CompTIA Network+ Exam (N10-005) is a certification qualification test designed for IT network and security personnel to demonstrate their industry knowledge and skills. The N10-005 Exam is the recently updated version of the certification test and features expanded sections on multi-layer OSI implementation, network security, and virtual networking.
The N10-005 Exam contains 100 questions and requires a score of 720 to pass on a scale of 100 to 900. Ninety minutes are allotted for exam completion, and while there are no prerequisites for testing, some experience and training are recommended, including completion of the CompTIA A+ Certification and at least nine months of professional networking experience in a real world work environment.
The N10-005 Exam consists of five primary subjects central to the administration, installation, support, and troubleshooting of IT networks. As the exam covers the fundamentals of network operations, certification through the CompTIA Network+ program is beneficial for IT personnel working in a variety of roles across several IT related industries.
