CompTIA FC0-U41 : CompTIA Strata IT Fundamentals of PC Functionality Exam
The CompTIA Strata IT Fundamentals of PC Functionality Exam (FC0-U41) is the second required exam in qualification for the CompTIA Strata Fundamentals Certification, a United Kingdom-specific entry level IT credential that can be a standalone certification or a career-progression step in a path to earning other specialized credentials with CompTIA, including the A+, Network+ and Security+ Certifications.
The FC0-U41 Exam is currently available in eight languages and consists of 70 questions. Sixty minutes are allotted for completion of the exam and a score of 70% or above is required for success.
Exam Details:
The FC0-U41 Exam covers a range of subjects central to the functionality of PCs, including fundamental concepts of hardware and technology, software, and security. Green IT initiatives and preventative maintenance concepts and protocols are also covered by exam questions. Successful candidates must be capable of explaining basic computer hardware and software available and detailing the technological, compatibility and installation requirements for each. Security assessments, risk mitigation and resolution of common risk realizations are also required for success on the FC0-U41 Exam. Identification and explanation of common compatibility issues and errors is additionally required of test takers and candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform basic preventative maintenance operations for PC as well.
