Professionals who are highly skilled in Novell Identity Manager 4 are the ideal candidates for the CNIMA (Certified Novell Identity Manager Administrator) certification. Individuals with the CNIMA certification are sought by employers because they have advanced skills in identity management solutions that allow them to incorporate new services, capabilities, and features.
As part of their job responsibilities, a certified CNIMA will perform traces, check driver states, and develop and manage policies. Also, a CNIMA will implement advanced drivers, configure advanced reporting and custom work flows, perform health checks and basic reporting tasks, manage entitlements, and create roles.
Interested candidates must pass the 050-730 - Certified Novell Identity Manager Administrator exam in order to gain CNIMA certification. In order to prepare for the exam, both of the following courses are recommended, but not required: 3109: Novell Identity Manager 4 Administration and 3110: Novell Identity Manager 4 : Entitlements, Workflows and Roles Provisioning.
