CIW 1D0-525 : CIW E-Commerce Specialist Exam
The CIW 1D0-525 E-Commerce Specialist exam is 75-minute exam comprised of 72 questions total. In order to receive the CIW E-Commerce Specialist certification, a passing score of 68% is required. Knowledge of e-commerce standards and site design makes up most of the test. It is targeted at IT and marketing professionals, Internet consultants, and web designers who are looking to increase their depth of knowledge and specialization.
To accompany the CIW 1D0-525 exam, candidates should enroll in the E-Commerce Strategies and Practices training course, offered through CIW. The 1D0-525 exam is broken down into three areas of knowledge:
1. Marketing and Business. Participants must properly implement an effective marketing strategy for an e-commerce site and identify effects of e-commerce on business operations/revenue. Legal issues may also be tested.
2. Security and Technology. The proper configuration of web server software is required. Site performance must be analyzed. Participants should know how to secure an e-commerce site and transactions.
3. Site Development. The features and processes of building an e-commerce site will be address. Participants should be familiar with e-commerce-based learning solutions, inventory fulfillment strategies, and stand-alone software.
