CIW 1D0-51B : CIW Site Development Associate Exam
The CIW 1D0-51B Site Development Associate test will present information about essential web page development and improvement skills. It is designed for students and professionals interested in pursuing a web site design/marketing career and serves as a requirement for the CIW Site Development Associate certification.
To prepare for the CIW 1D0-51B exam, participants are highly suggested to enroll in the site development associate training course, which will teach several useful skills and cover all aspects of site development as included on the exam. Other resources, including a self-study program, can be viewed online at the CIW website. The exam consists of 30 questions that must be answered in a 30-minute timeframe. A passing score of 63% is required.
Participants will be required to describe the steps in the web site planning and development process. Database language, XHTML, and performance issues must be explained. Candidates should be able to identify associated technologies, define XML and e-commerce, use GUI-based HTML editing software, and identify ways in which site creativity can be improved and web pages can be designed to industry standards.
