CIW 1D0-437 : CIW Perl Specialist Exam
The CIW 1D0-437 Perl Specialist exam is a 75-minute test with 50 multiple choice questions. It is required for the CIW Perl Specialist certification and will test knowledge of Perl application development, programming language, and other features. It is designed for web and software developers, desktop publishers, and application programmers who are interested in mastering the features of the Perl programming language.
CIW offers a training course of the same name for candidates to take in preparation of the 1D0-437 exam, which teaches code development, language essentials, and overall website development. Candidates can access a course description, program brochure, and test objectives at the CIW Certified website. A passing score of 75% is required.
The following items will appear on the CIW 1D0-437 examination:
1. Participants must be able to conceive and implement object-oriented programming language/techniques in Perl.
2. The correct usage of such things as regular expressions, subroutines, hashes, arrays, and files for specific, related tasks is required by participants.
3. Participants should correctly define database programming and the uses/operation of the Perl interpreter. Participants will also be required to direct programming flow and process command lines.
