Cisco 642-902 : ROUTE (Implementing Cisco IP Routing) Exam
Cisco 642-902 ROUTE (Implementing Cisco IP Routing) examination is associated with three different types of certifications. By successfully completing this assessment, applicants will be eligible to receive a CCDP, CCIP or CCNP certification. The test is 120 minutes in duration and is comprised of forty-five to fifty-five questions. It is given in English or Japanese.
The Cisco 642-902 ROUTE examination verifies that applicants possess sufficient knowledge to be awarded one of the three aforementioned certifications. The test will evaluate a candidate's knowledge of utilizing advanced routing and IP addressing solutions, implementing ISR routers that are secure and scalable when connected to both WANS and LANS, and configuring routing solutions capable of supporting mobile workers and branch workers.
Several topics are addressed on the test. Some of these topics include: implementing EIGRP solutions within a given networks design and based on certain requirements, implementing path control on layer 3 solutions and implementing IPv4 as well as IPv6 redistribution solutions.
