Cisco 642-447 : CIPT1 v8.0 (Implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Part 1 v8.0) Exam
The Cisco 642-447 CIPT1 v8.0 (Implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Part 1 v8.0) exam is a requirement for candidates who are working toward earning the Cisco CCNP Voice certification. This exam, which is available in English and Japanese, is designed to assess a candidate's skill level in tasks involving installation and configuration of Cisco's Unified Communications Manager solution, with particular emphasis on the v8.0 version.
This 90-minute exam will contain between 60-70 questions. The following exam topics are provided to serve as a general guide to aid in the preparation process:
-Describe and configure Cisco Unified Communications Manager to support on-cluster calling
Participants will conduct configuration of Unified Communications Manager templates, groups, along with profiles and device pools. They will also explain how to manage users and phones via the Unified Communications Manager Bulk Administration Tool.
-Describe and configure Cisco Unified Communications media resources
Candidates will provide a description of media resources and configure Media Resource Groups, Group Lists, and MeetMe conferencing with conferencing resources.
-Describe and configure a route plan for Cisco Unified Communications Manager to support off-net calling
Candidates will configure route patterns, route lists, digit manipulation and implement calling privileges and gateways.
