Cisco 642-427 : TVOICE v8.0 (Troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications) Exam
The Cisco 642-427 TVOICE v8.0 (Troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications) exam is a part of the CCNP Voice certification. The purpose of this exam is to validate a candidate's knowledge and skill necessary to successfully troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communication systems and solutions in various deployments. Currently, the Cisco 642-427 exam is available in English and Japanese.
During the course of this 90-minute exam, candidates will answer between 60-70 questions. The following exam topics are intended to guide the candidate in his or her preparation leading up to this exam and do not represent all of the content that could be presented:
-Apply the Cisco recommended methodology used to determine general Unified Communications System problems and issues
Examinees will identify monitoring and troubleshooting tools and describe the steps involved with identifying a problem.
-Candidates will be required to troubleshoot voice quality issues, media resources, application issue and call control discovery and Cisco Inter Company Media Exchange.
-Identify available tools to operate and troubleshoot a Unified Communications System
Examinees will determine appropriate tools for troubleshooting and monitoring. They will also be asked to link events based on debugs, traces, logs and output of monitoring tools.
Candidates can prepare for the Cisco 642-427 exam with the Troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications v8.0 (TVOICE v8.0) course prior to taking this exam. Candidates will be responsible for any additional related content that could appear on specific deliveries of this exam.
