Cisco 640-554 : IINS (Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security) Exam
The Cisco 640-554: Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security (IINS) exam is a 90-minute test with a range of 55 to 65 questions. The exam is associated with the CCNA Security certification and is available in the following languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Korean, French and Spanish. Candidates may only retake an exam once. Any candidate who fails an exam is required to wait five calendar days, beginning the day after the failed attempt, before to retake the same exam. Once an exam has been taken, a candidate must wait at least 180 days before taking the same exam with the same exam number. The exam number for this test is 640-553 IINS or 640-554 IINS.
The Cisco 640-554 exam is designed to test the examinee's knowledge and ability of how to secure Cisco routers and switches and the associated networks. Upon completion of the test, the candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the necessary skills for installation, troubleshooting and monitoring of network devices to maintain integrity, confidentiality and availability of data and devices. The candidate will develop competency in the technologies Cisco uses in its security infrastructure. As preparation for the course, candidates can take the Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security (IINS) course.
