Cisco 350-050 : CCIE Wireless Written Exam
The Cisco 350-050 CCIE Wireless exam is comprised of 90-110 questions measuring the candidate's knowledge of Enterprise WLAN networks. Professionals must display the ability to plan, design, implement, operate and troubleshoot systems without using reference material. No outside materials will be allowed during the closed-book testing process, and all required material will be provided at the testing center. The exam format will be a two-hour multiple-choice exam; candidates will be required to answer every question completely before moving on to the next question. Answers may not be changed once they are completed. Exam scoring will be on a scale of 300-1000 points. Candidates can expect to spend up to two hours in order to complete the certification.
The Cisco 350-050 CCIE Wireless exam covers seven different sections starting with planning and designing 802.11 wireless technologies, configuring and troubleshooting L2/L3 network infrastructure to support WLANs, infrastructure application services, autonomous deployment models, unified deployment models, WCS, and WLAN services. Wireless technology in the 802.11 subject include WLAN organization and regulation, IEEE standards and protocols, WPS, MFP, NAC, interoperability of proposed technologies against IP network infrastructure and technologies, AP quantity, placement, and antenna type, and RF operational models. Network infrastructure supporting WLAN topics include VLANs, VTP, STP, Etherchannel, HSRP, VSS, standalone and integrated WLCs, PoE for Ap's, QoS on the switching infrastructure, and multicast on the switching infrastructure. General questions will cover simulated problems and require an evaluation of possible solutions.
