Checkpoint 156-215.75 : Check Point Certified Security Administrator Exam
The Checkpoint 156-215.75: Check Point Certified Security Administrator test is intended for technical professionals who already have sufficient knowledge or experience in installing, administering, and supporting CP Software Blades. It is a 2-hour exam comprised of 90 multiple choice questions; 80% will focus on information found in course materials, while 20% will relate to hands-on experience.
Successful completion of this course and exam will earn participants the CCSA R75 certification. The course will cover exam topics and prepare candidates by blending coursework with hands-on training. The configuration and management of a secure network policy, along with product upgrades and implementation of a virtual private network, will be taught. The course and exam requires background knowledge of network technology and Internet concepts. The test can be taken at VUE test centers worldwide. A passing score of 70% is required.
The following areas of knowledge will be tested:
1. Participants will be required to describe the key elements of network management and a distributed environment, pertaining to Check Point products. Participants must be able to configure network, gateway, and host objects and evaluate existing policies.
2. Participants must demonstrate the ability to properly and completely maintain and manage the Security Management Server, including generating reports, using queries, configuring alerts, managing users, attaching product licenses, and upgrades.
3. Knowledge of the usage of external databases, Identity Awareness, VPN tunnel sharing, and VPN-1 Gateways is required. Other specifics regarding security administration should be identified and understood, as mentioned in the training course.
