Earning the CompTIA Certified Document Imaging Architech (CDIA+) certification requires individuals to have expertise in document imaging and document management. Additionally, it is an international and vendor-neutral certification that validates a professional's abilities in planning, designing, and specifying document imaging, management systems, as well as all the related technologies and best practices. Typically, the most successful candidates have at least 12 to 18 months of work experience in a document imaging job role.
In order to earn the CDIA+ (CompTIA Certified Document Imaging Architect) certification certification, candidates must pass the 225-030 CDIA+ exam. The exam has 85 questions, which must be answered within 90 minutes. For non-English speakers, a 30 minute extension is possible.
After gaining certification, professionals typically hold job positions such as solution sales specialist, document imaging specialist, or electronic records manager. Companies that hire CDIA+ certified professionals include, but are not limited to, Canon, Kyocera, Konica, and Ricoh.
