Blue Coat BCCPP : Blue Coat Certified Proxy Professional Exam
Successful completion of the Blue Coat BCCPP: Blue Coast Certified Proxy Professional examination is required to receive the Blue Coat Certified Proxy Professional (BCCPP) certification. It must be taken in combination with the BCCPP course, a two-day training session that will cover advanced features and functions of the operating system.
Before this test can be taken, participants have enrolled in the BCCPA course and successfully completed the associated exam. Advanced knowledge of ProxySG and field experience is also required. This exam must be taken on-site at any international Global Knowledge testing location. Registration can be completed at the Global Knowledge website. The course includes an exhaustive review of specific knowledge, hands-on training, and a complete outline of exam information.
The Blue Coat BCCPP exam will require advanced knowledge of Blue Coast ProxySG. All aspects of the OS, rather than just system administration, must be known. An understanding of product architecture is required, as is the configuration of authentication realms. Participants should know how to apply ProxySG toward failover and forwarding and should know how to use such things as trace policy execution and content policy language. Management of associated appliances using Blue Coat Director will be tested, and knowledge of security, proxy client filtering, and advanced services is required.
