Bicsi RCDD : Registered Communications Distribution Design Exam
The Bicsi Registered Communications Distribution Design (RCDD) exam is a 3-hour exam consisting of 120 multiple choice questions. It is computer-based and can be taken at Pearson VUE Authorized Training Centers worldwide. Locations can be found at the Pearson VUE website.
To prepare for the Bicsi RCDD exam, the Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (TDMM) should be read. All chapters will be accessed for test questions. Several training courses, including the ITS Design Fundamentals Program, can be taken. Flash cards can be purchased online for additional assistance. All serious candidates should complete the RCDD Knowledge Assessment, as exam areas and specific topics will be shown.
Prior to taking the Bicsi RCDD exam, candidates must complete a series of requirements. An exam application must be downloaded, completed, and submitted to BCSI headquarters; it must be approved before the candidate can register for the exam. The Communications ITS/Distribution Design Experience Checklist, current resume, and four letters of reference must also be submitted.
