Axis Communications AX0-100 : Axis Network Video Exam
The Axis Communications AX0-100 Axis Network Video exam is a 105-minute exam with 75 multiple choice and matching questions. It is required for the Axis Certified Professional certification and will test knowledge related to network video surveillance, including design, implementation techniques, and product components. A passing score of 75% is required.
Three classroom training courses can be taken in preparation for the Axis Communications AX0-100 exam, including the Axis Certification Program Preparation Course. Several web-based trainings are also available, each one focusing on different aspects of Axis products. Numerous guides and tutorials can be accessed online for further review. The exam is offered at Prometric testing centers in selected counties. Locations and test technicalities can be viewed on the Prometric website.
On the Axis Communications AX0-100 exam, the following topics will be covered:
1. Product knowledge. Participants must identify and describe different characteristics of Axis products, including software solutions and naming convention.
2. Technology and networking. Participants should have a firm grasp on network video technology such as photographic knowledge and intelligent video. Basic networking and security concepts should also be understood.
3. System design and installation. Participants should be knowledgeable of system design tools and considerations, including bandwidth and camera placement. Participants must also be able to describe the processes related to software/hardware installation and maintenance.
