ASQ CSSBB : Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Exam
The ASQ CSSBB: Six Sigma Black Belt Certification exam is comprised of 150 multiple choice questions that must be completed in a 4-hour period. It tests knowledge on such topics as team management, the organization process, design of experiments, enterprise-wide deployment, and data collection/statistics.
To prepare for ASQ CSSBB exam, candidates must review the Body of Knowledge and all related references, as test questions will come directly from this source. A study guide and example exams are also available. Two completed work projects with signed affidavits (or one project and three years of work experience related to the Body of Knowledge) is required before attempting this exam. The ASQ CSSBB exam is only available in the English language.
The Six Sigma philosophies, principles, tools, and supporting systems will be tested. Participants should not only know them, but be able to apply them in the business setting. Participants should also understand and correctly incorporate the DMAIC model into business processes, along with the components that make up project management. Knowledge of QFD techniques and FMEA is also required.
As well, participants should be comfortable with displaying team leadership, acknowledging team and organizational dynamics, and explaining various leadership roles and customer expectations. Participants must be able to properly use communication tools such as motivation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
