ACSM 020-222 : ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist Exam
The 020-222 ACSM Certified Health Fitness Specialist examination consists of 125 scored questions and 25 unscored questions in a time period of 3.5 hours. Successful completion of this exam can lead participants to become certifiably trained in helping others who are combatting medically-controlled diseases by performing health risk and physical fitness assessments.
As training for this exam, participants can take advantage of the numerous study materials available, including guidelines, resource manuals, and study kits. A 2-day HFS workshop and several ACMS webinars can also be taken for additional training purposes. A bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology from a regionally accredited college or university, along with a Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Adult CPR certification, is required.
