ACSM 010-111 : ACSM Certified Personal Trainer Exam
The ACSM 010-111: ACSM Certified Personal Trainer exam is available for all individuals who are looking to impact the lives of others with a certifiable understanding of health and fitness. As a certified personal trainer, participants will have the ability to plan and administer exercise programs for interested health-conscience individuals. The exam consists of 120 scored items and 30 unscored items with a time limit of 150 minutes.
To prepare for ACSM 010-111 exam, participants can purchase study materials (textbooks, guidelines, etc. ) from the ACSM website. A 1-day and 3-day workshop is also available for enrollment, while webinars are now available for ease and convenience. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older, currently in possession of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Adult CPR certification.
As a CPT, participants must possess knowledge of muscular endurance, health-related physical fitness, body composition, health risks, and motivation. The following areas of competency will be tested:
