This certification validates the skill set required for engineering advanced network architectures that are capable of delivering heightened triple play and video services.
The successful completion of several Alcatel-Lucent certification exams is required for earning the 3RP (Alcatel-Lucent Triple Play Routing Professional) certification. Training courses are available to prepare for certification exams for those who need them; however, the candidate's level of experience will determine if he or she requires additional training before taking any single exam.
To achieve the 3RP (Alcatel-Lucent Triple Play Routing Professional) certification, the following exams are required:
4A0-100 - Scalable IP Networks
4A0-101 - Interior Routing Protocols and High Availability
4A0-103 - Multiprotocol Label Switching
4A0-104 - Services Architecture
4A0-105 - Virtual Private LAN Services
4A0-107 - Quality of Service
4A0-108 - Multicast Protocols
4A0-109 - Triple Play Services
NRSII-4A0 - NRS II Lab
Before taking the NRSII-4A0 exam, candidates must successfully pass one of the other required exams for the 3RP certification. Once earned, the 3RP certification is valid for three years. Recertification is required to maintain active credentialed status, at which time the candidate must successful complete the 4A0-109 exam again.
